• Ideas and opinions

“We are really perfect in classifying an idea as ‘difficult’ or ‘impossible’, stating our too quickly expressed persomal opinion as the overall truth. But we are really bad in supporting people with ideas in the most positive manner to quickly realize and manifest them. Ideas never die because of impossibility, they always die because of our own and also external negativity.”

  • Judgement

Posted on August 11th, 2010 Heidi No comments

Very often I ask myself for the cause of this society today in Germany. In general I think that the negatives of the world are based on a fact: Judgement.

A child also comes the world and finds everything first of all great or neutral. It is curious, want everything to explore, get to know everything. And if something doesn’t taste very good, the child don’t want to eat it again, that’s it. The child doesn’t judge the meal.

However, then there comes the coinage. “Do not run down this”, “This is bad”…. The environment provides for every person that there is the bad as well as good. And what is valid as bad, it is determined socially. In many countries something is valid as a property, in others against it than badly. At national courts one can see always very good. If we take once Iceland, because we fly the next days there. A national court is inlaid testicles in sour milk. I and many Germans ask themselves like one can eat such a thing. The Icelanders maybe ask themselves how one can eat sauerkraut or smoked ham.

In India cows are holy, here we eat them and and and…

It is given by the society in which one grows up a certain social construct from good and bad. Partially these “rules” rise fear, feeling of guilt and depression in the people. Why? Because someone feel the urge to do something and the construct of bad and good from the society say to him that this is bad. Not to work every day is bad, to travel all around the world is not neccessary etc. Many people give up their dreams because the fear the judgement of other people. The reputation of them could be damaged. And so people go to work and are frustrated, because they want many other things. A book write, around the world travel etc.

The judmengt we earn and the judmengt we give are our chain which hold us from a free life. I also know these chains, very well and it costs a little courage to remove them.

We want to buy  big horse horse whom we have seen on a horse fair. I do not tell my parents it, why? Because I know how immediately on the mother’s side is judged. And not in a positive way. A friend of me started immediatly with judgments of the society consciously. “Isn’t it to much for you to handly? Where want you to accommodate it then? What do you do when you go on vacation? Why do you take no horse from next door? …..”

I am sure that she don’t know why she said all of this typical judgements. She had a pony which was, for the society judgment, to small for her to ride. But they both had really a lot of fun and she loved to ride with this small pony through the area.

We must try to decrease judgements. Judge others and more important, yourself, not so often in the future. Ask yourself as soon as a doubt rise in you, why you have this thoughts. What’s the reason for a fear? That your reputation could be damaged?

Don’t you have the right to life your own life as you want it?

Steffen told me a good quote today from Henry Ford:

“There are less people them there fail than those who capitulate” - Henry Ford

    Deed develops into habit.
    And habit hardens into character.

So watch the thought and its ways with care.

  • Man benötigt nicht viel…

Posted on May 5th, 2010 Heidi No comments

3000 Euro.

Was ist nun besser?

  • Happy earth day

Posted on April 22nd, 2010 Heidi No comments

We are all puppets to cheer on this Earth,
While joy and sorrow always come since our birth !
Daylights follow dusk towards the gloomy nights,
And bring us such a joy to renew our sights !
Fresh air and clean water nourish our souls,
Without them, we suffer, and pay the heavy tolls !

To put a stop to these tolls, EPA was formed -
Over two decades ago, and brains were stormed !
For protection of nature, EPA took the vow -
To offer simple tips, let me tell ‘em now !
Banning pesticides and lead in gasoline -
Made the giant move to make the nature clean !
Recycling became a daily household chore -
To reduce costs and protect the seashore !
Reduction of emissions created the flow -
Of cleaner air, and polluters took a blow !
Dumping of sewage into lakes and streams -
Was banned to prevent leery public screams !
Pollution of water became a salient issue -
To protect human health and aquatic tissue !

The situation has changed over twenty-five years,
And laws are in place to remove our fears !
Now an annual event hangs around us -
To recognize Earth Day without any fuss!
So let’s all sing Save the Earth songs,
And do things right to hear loud gongs !

Now, always think “Earth Is In Your Hands”,
Here at home or in foreign lands !
So let us follow these few simple roles,
To avoid the agonies of all future souls !
Conserve the water as much as you can,
While you are bathing or washing the van !
Recycle and prevent pollution at the source,
While care should be motive and the hidden force !
Plant the trees in open private space,
To create the shade and cool your face !
Try the carpool with a friend, or share a ride -
To control the air and emission ebb tide !

Dispose off pesticides in a real safe manner,
And label before you bury ‘em under a banner !
Organize all efforts to discard the waste,
EPA may be called to quench any quest !
Invite friends to attend the Earth Day Acts,
And define each role to convey all facts !
Reward the guys for a job well done -
To share the benefits and all the fun !

  • Spring in the South

Posted on April 14th, 2010 Heidi No comments

Now in the oak the sap of life is welling,
    Tho’ to the bough the rusty leafage clings;
Now on the elm the misty buds are swelling,
    See how the pine-wood grows alive with wings;
    Blue-jays fluttering, yodeling and crying,
Meadow-larks sailing low above the faded grass,
Red-birds whistling clear, silent robins flying,–
Who has waked the birds up? What has come to pass?

    Last year’s cotton-plants, desolately bowing,
    Tremble in the March-wind, ragged and forlorn;
Red are the hill-sides of the early ploughing,
Gray are the lowlands, waiting for the corn.
    Earth seems asleep still, but she’s only feigning;
Deep in her bosom thrills a sweet unrest.
Look where the jasmine lavishly is raining
Jove’s golden shower into Danae’s breast!

Now on the plum the snowy bloom is sifted,
Now on the peach the glory of the rose,
Over the hills a tender haze is drifted,
Full to the brim the yellow river flows.
Dark cypress boughs with vivid jewels glisten,
Greener than emeralds shining in the sun.
Who has wrought the magic? Listen, sweetheart, listen!
The mocking-bird is singing Spring has begun.

Hark, in his song no tremor of misgiving!
All of his heart he pours into his lay,–
“Love, love, love, and pure delight of living:
Winter is forgotten: here’s a happy day!”
Fair in your face I read the flowery presage,
Snowy on your brow and rosy on your mouth:
Sweet in your voice I hear the season’s message,–
Love, love, love, and Spring in the South!

  • The value of a human being

Posted on February 11th, 2010 Heidi No comments

On given occasion the misinterpretation of the “value” becomes more conscious by me. The following situation has led me to the following knowledge: Study 7th semestre, business management. Of all ambitious student, everybody well then them has created it up to the end. The exam results are announced and a student receives a mark which she agree with it. When she hears that another student who was in her opinion much worse than herself has a better mark, she is angry at it.
If she had not known that the other is better, she would not have been angry and herself the evening-spoilt.

In the west the value of a person is measured first in the marks, later in the occupation and within the occupation in the salary. Figures always determine the value of a person. And these will award from other people on account of tests, check, achievement proofs and personal predilections.

However, is this really the value of a person? Is the 1st pupil more “worth”, therefore, than the 3rd pupil? What does this mark state about the person in himself, his character, his being?

Not a lot. We everybody know examples of rich people, the tyrants or choleric persons are and bring to the humanity nothing good. We know “poor” people who earn not a lot, were not well at school, however, for others are there. Who is more worth now?

Is a egoistic manager more worth than a good father of a family who works on the tape? Is a doctor more worth than a nurse?

The true value of a person deals nothing with the stamps imposed by us like marks or salary allocations. If it also is not able at all, because each of us is unique, has other aims in the life and other images. One would like to make career in a big company and earn a lot of money, the other is happy than fisher.

Every person has an individual value which is to be compared to no other person. One can compare himself only with himself and with nobody other. Most people forget this, but for us to the west educated people is also such a thing difficult to understand. We are trimmed, finally, from 6 years on figures and imposed, standardised values.

I know this well to have to be this ambition, this pressure and compulsion, always the best. I was the same up to the beginning of the study. But it brings nothing. Of course one can push himself and bring far it be “successful” in the social sense. Whether one is happy with 60 hours of job, a big car, house etc. then, is doubtful. Namely really happily. Not the feeling of happiness that our ego auditions to us.

Think about it. And discover your true value.
