Re-membering Who You Really Are

Just as you have chosen to personify pure love as the character you call God, so have you chosen to personify abject fear as the character you call the devil.

Some on Earth have established rather elaborate mythologies around this event, complete with scenarios of battles and war, angelic soldiers and devilish warriors, the forces of good and evil, of light and dark.

This mythology has been mankind’s early attempt to understand, and tell others in a way they could understand, a cosmic occurrence of which the human soul is deeply aware, but of which the mind can barely conceive.

Change (Part 2)

People do not change because they are told to change. People may temporarily alter their behavior because they have been told to do so by those who have power over them, but that is not real change. That is merely a surface shift of outward demeanor. Inner truth has not shifted. As soon as the power over them has been lifted, or can no longer be exerted, people’s behavior returns to that which is motivated by their inner truth.

The parent of every teenager knows this.

Buffer of time

The buffer of time gives you the opportunity to get it right before it manifests, to take pleasure from the vision and from the molding it into place… Can you imagine if everything was manifesting instantly? You would manifest this, and then you would manifest it away. And then you’d manifest that, and then… It would be a difficult thing if you were instantly manifesting every whim or every misaligned thought. It’s so much better that you have this buffer of time where you can feel it into perfection before it manifests into your experience.

In the absence of cold, hot is not. In the absence of tall, short is not. If everything is short, then nothing is short, because “short” does not exist as something that can be known. It may exist as a concept, but it is a concept that you cannot experience. It can only be an idea, never your experienced reality.

Similarly, in the absence of Disunity, unity is not.
